Getting Ready!

It is egg dyeing time!

We love this Easter tradition, especially the yummy deviled eggs that come afterwards!

Tanner and Brynn were the official artists this year.

And what were the two little ones up to?  Well I just wasn’t up to cleaning up egg dye off my floors and walls and kid’s clothes, so Carter and Avery stuck with the plastic eggs.

When the plastic eggs got boring we added Cheerios to the eggs, that made for fun shaking and fun eating.  The bunny ears helped the cuteness factor!

Avery was also very entertained banging on the metal chair with the spoon and of course she sang along to her tune.  We needed a little music to liven things up!

Brynn broke an egg and then decided to peel it, which made a nice mess.  But it was pretty funny when she said “Oh, it’s squishy inside!”

And as we have learned when all else fails, give Carter food – including the egg yolk from the egg Brynn peeled.  He had fun squishing that up for awhile.

And the finished products!  Bring on the Easter Bunny!
