Ahhhh, the smell of Amoxicillin. Yes, Brynn has her first (and hopefully last) ear infection. Tanner’s one and only ear infection happened at just about the same age as Brynn’s so let’s hope that she follows in his foot steps. Brynn has handled it well and is now back to her normal cute self, except she does not like taking the medicine. This child will eat anything, but she learned real quick that this medicine is not good. Another reason why children need two parents – to administer medicine. I get to hold Brynn in a headlock and pin her arms down while Don squeezes her cute little mouth open and gets the syringe in her mouth at just the right angle so she hopefully swallows the medicine instead of spitting it out. When we are all done we look at Brynn covered in pink medicine and wonder if there is more IN her than ON her!
