Father’s Day and a Rockies Game!

Is there anything better than a baseball game with your son on Father’s Day?  How about getting to walk on the field before the game??  Today was little league baseball day at the Rockies game.  And FINALLY Tanner and Don were able to walk on the warning track of Coors field!  Last year it got rained out and Tanner was sooooo bummed.  But this year everything was just perfect!  Doesn’t this boy and his daddy look happy!

And the best part – they got Tulo jerseys to wear!  Tanner’s favorite player.  Unfortunately the Rockies lost, but fortunately I made it through another Rockies game without falling asleep!  And since it was father’s day I even let Don buy an extremely overpriced beverage of choice at the game and we got him a new Rockies shirt to wear to the game, aren’t we the best.   But most of all as much as Don loves all of his darling children he got to watch a whole game without anyone jumping all over him, changing a diaper,  or with the background noise of screaming and crying.  Who could ask for a better present than that?  And who did watch the little three – you’ll never guess?  Aunt Shelby and Alex!!  And they survived and all the little ones survived also!  It was a great day!
