So about 2 years ago they opened a Home Depot about 5 minutes away from our house. This was a REALLY big deal because our closest Home Depot was about 30 minutes away. So there was no quick trip to the hardware store for us and you know us, we always seem to be fixing or renovating something in our house. Anyway when Home Depot opened it was a very happy day and then we discovered the Kid’s Workshops at Home Depot. Once a month the kids can build some fun wood item for FREE! Tanner LOVES to go and lucky us, this weekend was kid’s workshop weekend and Brynn got to “build” her own project for the first time.
My little woodworkers!
Super dad and Brynn hard at work!
Tanner is getting really good at doing a lot of the assembly by himself. He’s going to be very handy, just like his daddy!
Carter was there too. Being his cute little self and just sticking his tongue out at everyone who stopped to comment on how much hair he has and how curly it is.
Brynn rode on all the ride on lawn mowers – her favorite thing to do at Home Depot (I remember when Tanner used to love to do this too, well he still does!)
The finished products! Football stands (or a table if you turn it upside down!) I just love how Tanner still wants to dress up in his handyman gear every time we go
And this is how we roll at Home Depot! I guess if we want to buy anything we will have to get another cart.
