Cross another thing off of our summer fun list, we finally made it to Estes Park to visit good ol’ Rocky Mountain National Park. We live so close by it really is sad that we don’t get up here more often! Overall it was a great day, Tanner got his Junior Ranger badge, Brynn saw her marmot and it only rained a little on us! Here are some pictures from our day!
The traditional picture in front of the national park sign
Tanner getting his junior ranger badge, they announced his name over the intercom and everyone clapped just for him, he got all embarrassed but I know he liked the attention!
A marmot sighting! Actually we only saw two the whole trip – that was strange, we usually see a lot more!
Two cuties! I love how you start out in shorts and t-shirts and by the time you reach the top of the mountain you are in hats and winter jackets!
She is going to be our little gymnast – she is always walking along wood and rock edges.
Look a rare picture of me and all my kids! And Tanner is sticking his tongue out, Brynn is trying to run away and Carter is eating the Baby Bjorn!
Nothing makes this boy happier than climbing rocks! Well a new Lego set might make him a little bit happier!
What a beautiful place – I love my Colorado!
