Happy 1st Birthday Brynn!

We can’t believe Brynn is 365 days old!!  The week leading up to her birthday was a little crazy!  Brynn cut her very first tooth last Saturday and now just six days later she is getting her second tooth and she is NOT liking those pokey things in her mouth at all!  And on top of that she had some cold/virus thing going on so between both these things she was just plain GRUMPY and tired (hence the reason she is not looking too happy in the pictures above!)  Not a good way to spend her first birthday, poor girl.  On her actual birthday she had a little party at her wonderful babysitter’s house where she got to open a few presents and got lots of cuddle time.   Brynn’s real birthday party is next weekend since we thought a birthday party and Easter were a bit much all in one weekend (and Nana and Papa were out of town)  However, we thought Brynn still needed a practice cake on her birthday.  She was not in the mood for cake on her birthday evening, so we waited until the next day when she was much happier and like the little eater she is, she didn’t let new teeth and a cold get in the way of her enjoying some good sugar - ladies and gentlemen this is how you eat a birthday cake!
