Spring Break Wrap-Up!

Spring break did not start out so great. Tanner got the pukes and you know what is worse than being 38 weeks pregnant? Being 38 weeks pregnant with a puking 4 year old!! Thankfully Tanner got sick over the weekend so Daddy Don took care of Tanner, the wash, more wash and more wash! I helped Tanner recover by cuddling with him in front of the TV!  Tanner did feel better by Monday, just in time to visit Nana and Papa for a couple of days where they went to the museum and played lots of trains so mommy could finish up her principal coursework at home (and do a little child free shopping!). I am determined to have all these assignments out of the way before baby arrives. The rest of our spring break was filled with playing outside, play dates for Tanner, flying kites (if you ever want to feel like a kid again fly a kite!!) and a family picnic at McIntosh Lake!! Yes, the lake is named after us. We did some major family bonding. We only have a few more days as a family of 3 you know! PS - Tanner and Daddy also visited the dentist this week. We finally found a wonderful dentist. Yippee! That just made my week, we did not have a good experience with our last dentist. This one did magic tricks for Tanner and made him a balloon animal. Tanner loved him! As we were leaving the dentist I was craving a Jamba Juice and asked Tanner if he wanted one, he answered. "No, I don't want to get my teeth dirty. They are sparkling clean!"   What a cutie!
